This recipe will decorate up to 20 cupcakes/ an 8 inch cake
ingredients:
500 g icing sugar
250 g butter
2 tsp of vanilla essence (your choice if you want a flavor to your butter cream)
1-2 tbsp milk
gel food colouring (if you want to colour them)
method:
- add half of the icing sugar with the whole amount of butter
- when it looks creamy add the milk and essence (if you want to put essence in)
- add the rest of the icing sugar into the butter cream mixture.
- if you want to colour the cake use gel colour as you use less (if you use liquid food colouring you end up using a full bottle and the colour wont be dark)
